It’s been a while!

I haven’t written here in two months! I haven’t really been busy, but I have been spending more time writing to my Ameba blog. It’s helping me to practice Japanese! I’ve also made many new friends. Some of them are people I never thought I would become friends with! It makes me happy!

Today is a national holiday, so I didn’t have to go to work! I was able to sleep late, and I went to eat lunch with my family. Tomorrow I return to my normal daily routine, but at least there are only four days of work instead of five!

I’m going to try to write to this blog more often. I still don’t know what to write about. I guess just my day to day life? Though, really it’s quite boring!!

We are still making plans to go to Japan sometime this winter, I think. I would love to go around Christmas, but work is always busy at that time, so perhaps in February! It would be nice to spend my birthday in the country I love. I will turn 25 next year, so I think it is a very important one!! I am worried about time, however. I have so many new people I would like to meet!! I wish that I could spend a month or two in Japan… but unfortunately, I don’t have enough money f(^^;;

So, that is my life lately. Look forward to more updates from now on!

Another day down

Today wasn’t that special, aside from the fact that we were treated to Imo’s Pizza at work. It helped boost my morale slightly, but it’s still hard to get up in the morning and motivate myself to get to work. I need a vacation BADLY.

I was awarded enough in loans to go to school in the fall, but I don’t know if I can actually do it. Am I ready to go back? Could I handle the class work AND work? Can I afford the excess stress?

It’s a lot to think about, isn’t it…

Well, I’m off to bed soon. Here’s to a better tomorrow…

Long days

Today was long and very blah! I felt bad all day at work because the air quality was horrendous, and even after getting home I wasn’t offered much comfort! Ameba was down for maintenance until 5, and then Pigg went back down at 8. It will be down until midnight, though, so there goes my hopes of playing around more this evening.

Do you ever have those days where you just want to fall into bed without a second thought and sleep for a week? That’s kind of how I’m feeling!

Well, it’s off to shower and then hit the sack!

The 4th of July!

So yesterday was fun!

The day started by eating at KFC which was not so fun. The stupid crew was working and going slow as fuck, but whatever. After we went to the mall, where I bought an orange cream truffle from Godiva. Omg it was tasty!! And it didn’t give me a headache! I want more XDD I also went to Apple and played with the iPhone 3GS. I did some side by side camera comparisons, and omg, the camera on the 3Gs is SO NICE. The macro mode is heavenly. I want it!!!

So after that it was off to AT&T so my dad could manage his account, then to the grocery store, then home for a short bit.

And then we collected Michelle!

We started the evening by making smores (which I forgot to take a picture of) and watching DBZ. Lisa broke out her scouter, and all was fun!

Then we decided it was time for some noms. We went for good old American food (Applebees) where we started with Margaritas (…wait…) But at least they were patriotic margaritas?

And then it was food~!!

After that we came home and headed over to the park for fireworks time! I’ll post a few photos in a new post.

And when we got back, mom told me her pretty cheesecake pie was done!

We watched one more episode of DBZ while waiting for traffic around our house to die down, then we went to take Michelle home. We also signed her up for ameblo and pigg, so yay! I spent time explaining it to her. And we ended the night by watching the first 2 minutes of the worst (or best?) porn ever:

Tempura☆

Today we had planned to go to our usual favorite Japanese restaurant, Nobu’s, but unfortunately they were closed because of the 4th of July holiday tomorrow. We ended up going to what used to be Yoshi’s, but is now called MoMoYama!

We had only been to Yoshi’s once before and it was quite tasty, so I was glad they were still there (and open!) Of course, I got my usual: Shrimp tempura, and 2 pieces of tamago sushi!

Lisa didn’t want most of her tempura vegetables, so I got double! It was very tasty and hit the spot!

After that, we went to Maggie Moo’s for some ice cream, and then on to the mall for Godiva chocolate! Lisa wanted to try the ice cream truffles, and they happened to be giving out samples! I tried a chocolate and vanilla one, and it was quite tasty!

Because I’m in the Godiva rewards program, I also got a free piece of chocolate! And, because I spent more than $10 last month, I was surprised with a bonus 2-piece box of chocolates as well~ I haven’t eaten any of it yet, but I loook forward to it~

We went a few other places, one of them being Wal-mart. And you won’t believe what I found…

..vibrating mascara? Seriously? I really don’t see how the applicator vibrating would help you to apply it any easier, or make the end result better. I have a hard enough time keeping my hand still enough applying mascara, so really, is this beneficial? At $12.50 it better be! I didn’t buy it of course, but I was curious.

After getting home and eating my dinner (Pizza Hut pizza rolls, again hehe), I played around on Pigg for a while. I was able to talk to Honoka, who just left DIS☆Marionette (one of my favorite bands) just a few weeks ago. I’m not mad at him for leaving, though, and I want to keep supporting him from now on as well! He was very kind to me and complemented my Japanese, and if he hadn’t been sleepy, we might have talked longer. I’m sure we’ll be able to meet again soon! He even became my ピグとも (Pigg friend), so I was very happy! Thank you, Honoka! And I also made friends with a nice girl who is a fan of VK who used to live in America. She was very nice and her English is very good! I hope I can talk to her again soon as well.

And that was my busy day! Tomorrow we have plans for Smores, fireworks, and fun times with friends :3 Hope you all have a wonderful 4th!

Woops, I almost forgot to post today! But look, I remembered in the end!

Well, the work week is over, and we’re free for the next three days. Tomorrow I think we’ll go to eat Japanese for lunch :3 Saturday we’re going to hang out with Michelle, make smores, and watch the fireworks in the park near my home (And, watch Dragon Ball Z after! Ahaha). I think it’ll be a fun weekend :3

Other than that, I just need some sleep! I feel so exhausted. Take care, all!
